The process

Enhancement requests go through a process in which it's approved or discarded. If approved, it goes to our in-house development team or the vendor.

  1. You submit the idea to ServiceNow

  2. The Global Governance Board reviews and approves the idea

  3. The idea goes into JIRA.
    If the work is to be done by Sage, it goes into backlog for it to be scheduled to a sprint.

    If the work is to be done by RightAnswers, we submit it through their enhancement process.

  4. The work is scheduled, completed, and communicated through a release.

Submit an enhancement idea

  • What component of the application is your idea about?
    Examples: Self-Service site, Agent Portal, Salesforce iFrame, Solution Manager, Reporting console

  • Describe your idea
    Who is the idea for, and what is it? Attach any mock-ups or screenshots to your idea.

    Example:
    "As an Author in Solution Manager, I want to...
    ... so that I can..."
